Biography

Jan De Silva is Canada Co-Chair, Canada-ASEAN Business Council (CABC), Canada’s Representative to APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC), a corporate director and former President & CEO, Toronto Region Board of Trade.

Prior to joining the Board, Jan was based in Asia for 14 serving as CEO of Sun Life Financial’s Hong Kong and Mainland China businesses; she co-founded and later sold Retail China Limited. She also served as Dean of Ivey Asia for Canada’s Ivey Business School of Western University.

Jan sits on the boards of Intact Financial Corporation (IFC-T), listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange and Building Ontario Fund (formerly Ontario Infrastructure Bank).
