Petra Sbeiti

Biography

Petra Sbeiti is an Associate at McCague Borlack LLP, one of Canada’s premier litigation and largest insurance boutique law firms. Her practice is focused on defending insurers and small to global corporations in claims involving bodily injury, commercial general liability, professional negligence, product liability, construction defects, and breach of contract disputes.

Prior to entering private practice, Petra worked for the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) as a Policy Research Analyst and went on to join the CBSA Legal Services Unit, where she focused on border regulations, customs and tariffs, and trade issues. She then started her litigation practice at the Department of Justice Canada providing advisory and litigation support on various national security matters and claims initiated against the Attorney General of Canada. Petra’s diverse work experience in both the private and public sectors enables her to deliver pragmatic and strategic legal advice in a wide variety of litigation matters.

Petra is fluent in English, French, Arabic and conversant in Spanish.
