Biography

Scott Moe was first elected to the Saskatchewan legislature in 2011, was elected Leader of the Saskatchewan Party on January 27, 2018 and sworn in as Premier of Saskatchewan on February 2, 2018.

Premier Moe was educated at the University of Saskatchewan where he received his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture. He has previously served as Minister of Environment, Minister of Advanced Education, Minister responsible for Saskatchewan Water Corporation, and Minister responsible for Saskatchewan Water Security Agency.

Premier Moe's priorities include a focus on increasing Saskatchewan's exports to create opportunities for people and further grow Saskatchewan's economy. To this end, he created the Ministry of Trade and Export Development with a mandate to sustain and develop relationships with Saskatchewan's current export customers and place an increased emphasis on diversifying our markets worldwide.

Premier Moe is also committed to advancing the economic interests of Saskatchewan through strengthening Saskatchewan's high-quality agricultural, mining, manufacturing, and energy industries that meet the needs of growing markets around the globe with world-leading efficiency and sustainability.
