SUMMARY:Islamic Finance Panel
DESCRIPTION:CABC\, Gowling WLG\, Canada Turkey Business Council (CTBC) and Manzil organized a very successful panel and networking breakfast on Islamic Finance on August 28 at Gowling WLG Toronto that attracted more than 80 attendees. Islamic Finance is one of the fastest growing financial services sectors and the event focused on the application and the implication of Islamic Finance from a Canadian context. \nThe Panel experts included Mohamad Sawwaf\, CEO and Co-Founder Manzil\, Khaled Sultan\, Investment Advisor\, CIBC Wood Gundy\, Atiq Nakrawala\, Managing Director\, Scene 7 and Shahzad F. Siddiqui\, Managing Partner\, Abrahams LLP. The Panel was moderated by Dr. Mohammad Fadel\, Professor at the University of Toronto & former Canada Research Chair for the Law and Economics of Islamic Law.
